HR Manager - VERVULD -

Under the general supervision of the General Manager, the HR Manager provides Human Resources leadership to the team:

• Oversee initial hiring of staff and ongoing HR management and development. Develop HR systems to support company growth;
  
• Reinforces the department’s mission and objectives, ensuring that objectives are aligned with corporate goals;
  
• Ensures that personnel and financial resources are utilized effectively.
  

The qualified candidate may have a diverse background of academic skills and experience. It would be expected that the candidate would have a good mix of the following qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in relevant discipline;
  
• Have attained, or be considerably on the way to attaining, a professional HR accreditation;
  
• 10 years plus experience in human resources management;
  
• 3 to 5 years as a HR Manager, or similar senior position, in a fast-paced, business environment;
  
• Significant and demonstrable HR management skills.
  
  Key Measures:
  
• Demonstrable experience of providing HR management to a large team in a fast moving environment;
  
• Experience or familiarization with the chosen HR systems or similar, with the ability to influence such decisions;
  
• Ability to work under pressure;
  
• Excellent communication skills and ability to positively influence all levels of employees in an honest and trustworthy manner and to establish rapport with corporate management and to present at board level;
  
• Ability to motivate and train a large team and drive for success;
  
• A dynamic, enthusiastic personality with excellent abilities to build teams across departments;
  
• Ability to create and used to working in multi-tasking environments;
  
• Must possess a strong work ethic, a sense of urgency, lots of enthusiasm and be results focused.
