Our client is an international ICT company
De Functie
    To manage and motivate the HR advisors and provide a comprehensive HR service to staff. The HR Manager will provide direct HR support to the company in Amsterdam NL and the location in Brabant, approximately 300 employees:
  • Managing 2 direct reports (HR Advisers);
  • Provide support and advice to staff on HR and organizational issues;
  • Manage a timely and high quality recruitment and selection process within budgeted staffing plans and hiring approval policies;
  • Manage the drafting of contracts of employment both fixed and permanent as well as consultancy contracts ensuring that the contract is in line with the approved internal paperwork and in compliance with group and legal framework;
  • Assist in devising or improving policies and procedures necessary to support HR, and support the design and roll out of HR initiatives across the group;
  • Liaise with legal counsel to provide legal advice on issues like long term sick-leave and termination of contracts;
  • Liaise with the respective Corporate functions, e.g. Training and Development, Compensation and Benefits, to provide advice to management on specific issues or organise training or information programmes;
  • Working with HR colleagues across the Corporate group, in particular UK based HR professionals dedicated to the account;
  • Working with the HR Director to manage restructuring and redundancy issues/processes;
  • Conduct disciplinary and grievance investigations;
  • Manage the employee benefits, liaising with the benefit providers to ensure that employees are registered or deregistered and that payments are made and records are kept up to date;
  • Manage the payroll process, in conjunction with the payroll consultant;
  • Coach and develop the HR advisors to ensure their knowledge and experience is effectively used and grown to ensure the provision of a professional, effective and timely HR service to their client groups;
  • Monitoring the compilation of the Advisors HR weekly status report and any other adhoc reports or statistics. Assist with the compilation of the group HR report;
  • Compiling monthly reports covering headcount, starters and leavers. Compiling and issuing a fortnightly HR bulletin;
  • Take up other tasks as may reasonably be requested.
De kandidaat
    The qualified candidate may have a diverse background of academic skills and experience. It would be expected that the candidate would have a good mix of the following qualifications:
  • Five years + experience in all relevant HR fields, including management experience, in an international and multi cultural environment;
  • Proven experience with mergers and acquisitions, organizational restructuring and redundancy issues;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to communicate and influence at all company levels and with internal as well as external partners;
  • Customer orientated with excellent problem solving skills.
  • The ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines;
  • The ability to be discreet and confidential;
  • Have an understanding of finance and the fundamentals of business administration;
  • Excellent spoken and written English and Dutch skills;
  • Computer literate particularly with Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
